Happy Mother's Day

We've had a great weekend! Saturday I took the kids to the Cove to do a little splashin' around - something we all needed - a little break from mommy being a tyrant! Then it was home to put the finishing touches on the cake and off to a birthday party.

Today has been an even better day - the kids were super excited that it was Mother's Day and gave me the gifts that they had made me after we got home from church. Grace had even gathered some of her things and put them in her treasure box to give to me. She is such a sweet kid!! These pictures aren't the best (I didn't think about where I was sitting when I sat down), but Grace snapped a few while I was opening my gifts.

I also awoke to an incredibly sweet e-mail from my husband. I am thankful that he thinks so much of me and still loves me completely, despite my faults. I am also thankful that he's able to tell me how he feels and encourages me when I need it the most - even when he doesn't know he's doing it.
