7

Our first born turned seven today.  I don't know how I feel about that.  It seems just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital, and now she's seven and in second grade!  Since her birthday was in the middle of the week, I took in cupcakes to her class, and we had a little celebration for her at home.
*Note to self - 7 candles on a cupcake is not a great idea.
She and Naomi got matching hats
A Magic Tree House book and a hanbok for her American Girl doll.
A big thank you smack for her brother.

Age Seven
  • Grade: Second.  Teacher: Mrs. Klimek.  Gifted education teacher: Ms. Dakin
  • Activities: Ballet and modern dance
  • Desire for future: Have your own ballet studio.
  • Loves: God; Magic Tree House books, and just reading in general; playing with your dolls; anything princess related.
  • Dislikes: Homework; picking up your room/playroom
  • Music: Praise and worship music; Bible songs; and you've gotten a taste of Country music and seem to like that as well.
  • You are an amazing "little" girl.  You are one of the kindest (ahem, except to your brother) people your father and I know.  You make us very proud of you on a daily basis.  The stories we hear from other people make my heart glad - please continue to stick up for those who aren't being treated right, and continue to do the right thing, even when it's not the easy thing to do.
Dear Lord,

Thank you for blessing us with Grace.  She is a joy to be around and her love for you at such a young age amazes me.  Please give her the desire to continue to grow in Your Word, and the courage to stand up for what she believes in and what is right.  Please continue to bless her and keep her safe in all her years.  In Jesus' name, Amen.

Happy Birthday to our "Amazing" Grace!
We love you!
