Mallipo Beach

We had a lazy Labor Day weekend, but finally decided to get out of the house and head to the beach on Monday.
I was curious as to how people got to their boats when there was no dingy.

Lunch at the lighthouse
A Camelbak pro!
Who knew you could teach a baby to bite down and suck? But she's been doing it since she was about 6 months old.
Exploring the tide pools
The tide came in rather quickly and it was much deeper than it was when they crossed the other direction.
She was a natural at the beach!  A beachcomber from the start.  And she picked up some pretty shells.
Tristan was happy playing on the shore.
Grace loved the water.
The waves were rocking the baby to sleep.
As we were leaving we saw target shooting with BB guns and darts, so we had to stop and let the kids shoot.

We had a great day and discovered yet another place we wish we had discovered sooner.  It took us about and hour or hour and a half to get there, the water was bathtub warm (with an occasional frigid current), and a clean sandy beach.
