Our European Adventure Begins

Despite our desire to retire next year, God had other plans for our family.  After years of asking for an assignment in Europe, it was finally granted to us.  We tried to turn it down twice, but when it was presented the third time, we knew that it was God ordained.  So, we said some very difficult goodbyes this weekend and boarded the plane to our new home in the Netherlands.

This is how we've been living for the last 2 weeks, and how we will be living for potentially the next 2 months.
There wasn't an inch of space left!

Naomi hasn't been on a plane since we returned from Korea (she was not yet 2), so she was very attentive listening to the details of the plane.
 And we're off!

Though we had hoped to retire in Tennessee, we know this will be a great adventure as our last hurrah as an Army family! Lord willing we will see Tennessee again in 3 years.
