Having a Little Fun

We've been doing an incredible amount of running around the last few days since we've gotten here, and the kids were about done with all of it. So, David took them downstairs and let them skate around a bit. They even had a few visitors from the apartment across the way.
This is the drive that goes beside our building. They are in the process of building behind us so it's not the best place to skate, but it beats not skating at all.

Another day, I was busy trying to get something accomplished in the house and the kids were entertaining themselves. Turns out they got into one of Tristan's craft books that I had for the plane ride and were following the directions to make different things using the outline of their hand on paper. Well, Grace was following directions, Tristan was just making it up as he went along... This is how he was squeezing the glue onto the googly eyes. I really get a kick out of his ingenuity sometimes. If he wants to do something he's gonna figure out a way to do it!

"Gluing" them onto the paper

(the reason he couldn't squeeze the glue out is because it wasn't open - but I wasn't going to tell him that!)
