After dropping Grace off for her first day of school, David and Tristan took me to meet some of my girlfriends for a fun day at Dongdaemun Shopping District in Seoul. We all met at the bus stop just off post, and then took the train to Seoul.
Our train is highlighted in red.
Kim and Melinda with their tickets.
We were all so excited to go exploring without kids!
Puting won on our T money cards for the subway.
Waiting for our train
After arriving in Seoul, we were privledged to be able to visit this prized establishment.
Planning out our shopping at the fabric market.
Miles upon miles of ribbon |
Tons of crafty stuff
More material that even the greatest seamstress knows what to do with!
Beads, beads,
and more beads!
Tons of fun stuff to make...
...and the thread!
An ice cream break at the end of the day.
We had a fabulous time. Seven women getting to hang out, shopping, and getting to know each other better, and because all of our husbands were off that day, we were able to do it without kids! I have grown to love these ladies in the last several months, and since most of us got here right around the same time, I look forward to getting to spend the next two to three years in their wonderful company.

That looks like a really fun place for projects!
What a fun time and place. Looks like you "girls" had a good time. Must see that shopping mall some time. Also loved the modeling pictures of Grace and of course Tristan too. My Grand Daughter, "The famous model" WOW! Love to all, GM Judi
