Christmas in July

Today we got to see Santa for the first time since Christmas 2009!  Of course the kids knew that this was just one of Santa's helpers - because Santa is busy at home getting ready for next Christmas...

Our MWR puts on a Christmas in July, complete with a Christmas tree, a "traditional" Christmas buffet, and SNOW!
Our kids just happened to be outside when the TV crew was interviewing Santa, so they got to sit with him and enjoy the "snow" while the cameras were rolling.  Of course, my darling children (who normally talk a mile a minute) had nothing to say, and played shy when they really should have been talkative!
Covered in snow - in July!
After a short discussion, Grace decided that she'd like some things for her American Girl doll (and then wise ol' Santa said he'd bring her another AG doll!)
And Tristan said he wanted a Nintendo DSi - no expense spared on my kids, no sir!
Naomi's first Santa visit - wonder if it will go this well in December?
