Friday, David's unit had a Company Organizational Day. Some people call this a mandatory "fun" day, because they aren't always the most fun functions to attend, but this one seemed to be a big success, despite the afternoon rain storm. They started the day off with a BBQ, bouncy house for the kiddos, and various other activities for the soldiers. After lunch they had the laser tag arena reserved, so while all the "big kids" were there, our kids went inside to fight.
Even David got in on the action - he always says he's gonna beat his kids with a stick!
The kids had a great time, and by the time we were ready to leave, some of David's soldiers had gathered around and were cheering the kids on - and they thought that was great!
