A Sad Goodbye

The day after we got back from China we had to say goodbye to some of our best friends. :(  I met Kim through a ladies Bible study I was involved in when we first arrived in Korea, and our friendship bloomed instantly.  And because we became such close friends, our families had no choice but to join us on our adventure! :) So, for our last hurrah, we met at the bowling alley to have some fun!
David with Lily
Lily loves "Baby Mae-Omi"
Kayden
Tristan and Michael playing Star Wars, no doubt
We prolonged our agony by getting ice cream...
My sweet friend Kim.
She has been such an inspiration to me and has kept me sane these last two years.  She is an amazing mom and friend and I feel so blessed that God put her and her family in my path.  We all agree that Korea is a dark place, but God has really placed people who shine His light in our path while we have been here.  People who have taught us so much and helped us grow, so that hopefully we can be a light to others as well.
Only our kids...
I am so thankful our kids got along so well.
It's hard to keep them from being silly for too long though!
