Seoul Grand Park

We took advantage of the weather today (and some cheap tickets) and headed out to yet another amusement park in Seoul.  This one is not as popular as some of the others, and because it was a Friday, we pretty much had the place to ourselves.
Runnin' amok while Bubba and Gracie were riding the bumper cars.

There are days that I really wish I had one of these at home.
Fall in Korea, oh how I love thee
I love roller coasters, and it is so much fun to be able to ride them with my kids
He is going to be sooo good at his job of embarassing his kids!

Toothless

Tristan's wiggly tooth is finally ready to come out - or he's finally willing to admit it.
But he didn't want me to try to pull it - he was going to do it himself this time.
Almost, but not quite...
I'm really going to miss this smile!
And it's outta there!
He looks so little in these pictures!  But my baby boy is growing up...

Soccer

Soccer season started a month ago, and I'm finally getting around to posting pictures.  At  least it keeps it to one blog post!

David and his team
These are the times that I miss her not being so mobile...
Naomi found an extra jersey in the bag and wanted to put it on, so this became her game day attire.

The kids really enjoyed their soccer season, especially with their daddy as the coach.  I especially enjoyed the fact that they were both on the same team so I only had one practice and one game to go to each week!  It's nice to know the people in charge and have them make little exceptions for you.

Homeschool Field Trips

One of the things I love about homeschooling (who'd have ever thought I'd say that?!?) is the number of field trips we get to take and all the cool stuff we get to learn about.  This month is about oceans so we headed out to Pyeongtaek Lakeside Park (which is a harbor rather than a lake).
Grace answering a question
Collecting beach items to use in an art project
An ajuma taking off with Naomi.
Is it bad that I don't worry about this?
They always bring her back.
Enjoying her friend that she hasn't seen in a month.

Last month the theme was weather, so we headed out to our local weather station and learned about all their instruments and how they predict the weather.
These were some super powered binoculars
Measuring the wind speed.
Goofin' around.  This is one of the only trees around that can be climbed so they had a blast.

While we were at the wreath laying ceremony, David spoke with a Dutch family who was able to give us information on how to find where his gr...
