Naomi - Month 13

I had intentions of stopping monthly posts for Naomi once she was one, but in looking through pictures for the other blog posts, there were just too many cute random pictures of her that I just had to share - so here's month 13.
She and Grandma were pooped!
We discovered you shouldn't leave an open package of toilet paper in her reach either.
Telling Grandma good-bye.
Mom made both of these dresses for the girls.  GO CATS!
This was a beautiful rocking horse - but was really expensive - so she had to settle for a test run only.
Licking her plate.
She takes after her father when it comes to manners...
Grace is a huge help with this little girl
I walked in to check on her one morning and all I saw were her legs hanging out of her crib.

The big kids were having a sleep-over at a friend's house so David and I decided to have a little fun with bubbles in the tub.

This precious baby is now walking and getting into everything!  Thankfully we have doors on all the places she shouldn't go, and her brother and sister are very patient when she gets into their things.  They have done a great job taking things she shouldn't have and giving her things of her own. One of these days (in all that spare time I have), I'll try to get the video up of her first steps.

USO Princess and Knight Party

The USO has put on a Princess and Knight party for the last two years that we have been here, and we were finally able to make it this year.  They had several different areas for the kids to participate in different activities, including a castle, jousting competition, dance lessons, cookie eating contest, pin the tail on the dragon, and a treasure hunt.

Grace won this one, and Tristan won on his second go round.
These two were even interviewed for AFN (Armed Forces Network) television and radio!
They're pretty awesome - just sayin'.  :)

July 4th

We had a rather uneventful 4th of July.  Josh came down before he left the next day and my mom was still here, so we hung around the house most of the day just visiting.  Later in the evening we were off to the festivities.

The kids had a ball on the different bouncy things.  Though I do believe this slide would be much more fun with baby oil or something on it so you could actually slide down instead of bounce down.
My littlest patriot.
My biggest patriot
I love having two girls that I can make matching outfits for - and love that the oldest requests it.
After the kids had their fill of bouncing and face painting, we headed back over to the parking garage to watch the fireworks.

Naomi was beyond tired by this time...

Naomi's 1st Birthday Pictures

And this little princess is ONE already!  This year has zoomed by in the blink of an eye.  She is so precious, a joy to be around, always doing something funny and giving a smile - at least when she's not making her opinion known!  My only guess as to why she is so loud sometimes is that she has to make herself heard above her brother and sister.
It's so funny!
Hey - what are you doing over there?
Oh no! Not another picture...
This blade of grass looks interesting...
Ooh - what's this stuff?
