Naomi - Month 6

This little girl is already 6 months old!  The time has absolutely flown by.  I imagine it's because I don't have time to just sit and stare at her like I did with Grace, and somewhat with Tristan.  It seems we are always on the go, and though she is always with me, I have other things that I'm paying attention to, so I don't realize how much she is changing, and how quickly she is growing.

Malcom has become very tolerant of the kids in his old age.

Ice Skating

The kids have been asking to go ice skating since the last time we went to Lotte World.  We decided this would be the perfect time to do so since my mom was here to take care of Naomi, and we could take Josh home too instead of him having to ride the bus home.  They were SO excited!!

In the middle of the rink they had an area blocked off for those who were taking classes - figure skating and speed skating.  It was a sight to see - kids smaller than Tristan zooming around the rink on their speed skates! 

David and I took a few laps around ourselves, but only 2, because that's how many Grace said we could do. :)

We all had a lot of fun and the kids were real troopers.  They both fell down quite a bit, but they never complained, and got back up each time and kept trying.

Christmas

Our Christmas was filled with family, fun, and far too many gifts - but what's new?  One of these days (soon, I hope) we'll convince Santa to put a rein on his generosity as well as his reindeer.

At least this year it didn't expand beyond the confines of the tree...

No, Santa didn't leave his hat behind, Naomi forgot to put hers away.

Not quite sure what to think of all this.

Buried!

Kinda blurry, but this kid was SOOOO excited about his new lightsaber!

Don't know if these are big in the States, but these animal hats with attatched mittens are all the rage over here.

Grace got a new lightsaber too.

And a gigantic purple (with mother-of-pearl inlayed peacocks) jewelry box.

Naomi got several toys that were bigger than she is!

Grace and Tristan got a shotgun and deer target.

Tristan's gonna be ready for his first deer hunting season!

Not only does Grace want to be a ballerina, but she wants to play a whole bunch of musical instruments too.

We had a fabulous day celebrating the birth of our Savior and hope you did too!

First Solid Food

Naomi got her first taste of solid food tonight, and boy did she devour it!

Josh is gonna be a great dad - he always steps up to help with the kiddos.
