Our Final Korean Strawberries

Today we headed out with a group of friends to a local strawberry farm.
Listening attentively to picking instructions and answering questions about strawberry plants.
Mmm, mmm, good!

Naomi had a little mishap when trying to get to Grace and Tristan (so I could get pictures of them too).  She tripped over a ripple in the walkway liner and face-planted into a mud puddle.
I can't get these kids to be serious for a second!
My BFF, Stephanie, and her sweet boys.
Lunchtime with fresh strawberry jam sandwiches.
This is a picture of pure trouble.
But aren't they cute?!
Seth, Noa, Jacob, Tristan, and Andrew

There was a petting zoo at this strawberry farm too.
These are the biggest animals I've seen in Korea.
Feeding the goats.

We had a great time with all of our friends eating strawberries until we could eat no more.  I sure am going to miss these delicious strawberries!  And my dear friends... But I'm trying not to think about that.

Basketball Champions

Alright, let's be honest - it was a great season with two well matched teams.  I think each of the teams won an equal number of games, but we won the last one so I'll call the Wildcats the 7-8 year old Camp Humphreys basketball champions.

David really enjoyed coaching these kiddos and watching them come together and play as a team.  We had a great group of kids and parents who were there to support and encourage their kids and have a great time.

Our Treasures

Here are our treasures from our trip.  Note to self: be cautious of what you are buying even if it is a great deal... we had to buy an extra suitcase to get all of this home. Thankfully it was a good deal too. :)
A lacquer piece to go over our bed.
The coolest bike helmets ever
Purses, bags, puppets, table runners, place mats, plates, coconut chopsticks, a silk pillow case, nick knacks, and wine holders.
A table runner depicting Angkor Wat and a Vietnamese woman on a bike turning around looking for her husband.
Hats, shirts, a scarf, and traditional Vietnamese clothing.
The girls in their outfits.
Apparently I went a little crazy on the sizing.

A Little Fun Before We Go

We spotted a Swenson's Ice Cream Parlor when we arrived, so tonight we took a tuk-tuk into town to have a delicious dinner of ice cream.

And earlier in the day (before our artsy adventures) we hit the pool for one last time.
Our beautiful room.
Enjoying a morning cup o joe.
Looking for fish in the little pond next to our building.
The guys went and got fish food for the kids to feed the fish.
They're really going to wonder why they don't get any special treatment when we get back to the States...

We have really enjoyed our vacation.  I'm definitely going to miss the fresh tropical fruit, sunshine, and warm temperatures!  But, all good things have to come to an end, so I guess we'll be putting on our jackets when we get back to Korea in the morning.

While we were at the wreath laying ceremony, David spoke with a Dutch family who was able to give us information on how to find where his gr...
