Yesterday, during her chapel time, Grace was recognized for being the Student of the Week.
She was so proud (as are David and I)! She's been asking about it for weeks now, asking me when she's going to be Student of the Week, because she "always acts like a first grader." The thing that got me not too long ago was when I was giving her a bath and she looks up at me and says, "Mommy, when will I get to be Student of the Week? I've been waiting and waiting, and I just can't wait any longer!" Her day finally arrived, and she was so excited. We'll have to go out for pizza and ice cream to celebrate sometime soon, since those are two of the rewards that she received.

What a wonderfully sweet moment. It's nice when someone gets student of the week and it actually means something to them. Sounds like it was a really big deal to Grace, as it should be, and that just makes it even more precious. I just love your family!
