Easter Eggs & More

Our Easter fun began Wednesday, when the fourth grade class came over to Tristan's classroom to help them dye Easter eggs.

He didn't do much more than watch, but he definitely liked his eggs.

Then, on Thursday, both kindergarten classes, third grade, and fourth grade all got together for some Easter fun. The fourth graders helped the younger ones at several different stations.

They had:

A coloring station.

Best friends Maya, Zoe, and Grace

An egg dyeing station

(Grace told me later that she was afraid to talk to the big kids - which I don't understand because she knows lots of older kids, and she has no problem talking to them or adults)

Jelly bean counting

You had to guess the number of each color, then count them, and then you got to split them with your partner and eat them!

Cupcake decorating

(This is my bobble-head daughter. Sorry for the bad angle, Grace!)

and they all made Jelly Bean Prayers.

White is for the grace He gave.

Purple is for His hour of sorrow.

Pink is for our new tomorrow.

All this topped off with a Veggie Tales Easter Carol movie! What a great afternoon!
