2012 MI Ball

David and I were able to attend the MI Ball again this year, thanks to our good friends Breanna and Peter Adams who kept our kiddos for us.  We had a great time.

When we found our table, we saw that David's place tag had been hand written.

Turns out someone mistyped his tag and it said SPC Samuelson instead of SFC Samuelson.

We all had a good laugh over that as he went from an E-7 to an E-4 - and I'm really glad that it didn't reflect in his next paycheck!

What a difference a year makes!  This time last year I was 8 months pregnant and felt like my dress was more of a tent than a formal dress.

Jen is a good friend of mine, and her hubby is going to be David's new XO for a short time, until he leaves.

We had a great time and are thankful for good friends who are willing to keep our kiddos so we can go out for a nice evening.
