Summertime Fun

This has been a rather dreary and wet (and incredibly HOT) summer, so the kids haven't been able to get to the water park much.  Not to mention that the first 2 weeks of summer vacation, their mother was very pregnant (which means doubly hot), and there was no way I was going to go bake in the sun!  David did take them a time or two, and then the rain started - and never seemed to end!  But we've finally had a few days of sunshine this week, and we took full advantage of it and headed to the pool.

It was tough not being at the edge of the pool ready to jump in at a moment's notice if one of the kids needed help (but that's what the lifeguards are for, right?)

I'm totally okay with them doing whatever they want when they can touch...

Thankfully they can both swim in deeper waters, so I don't have to worry too much, but I still worry a little bit about Tristan, because that boy just has no fear and I'm afraid he'll easily overdo it.  But for now, I just have to keep a close eye, and sit on the edge with Naomi when they want to go into the big pool to swim...
